Buttercup Meadow

Today has been sunny and warm - perhaps a foretaste of summer. As I am at work late and then dashing out to choir rehearsal I have done my blip whilst at work! Being 'in duty' to day meant that I was able to wander around with the camera, theoretically and mostly, taking shots of children for our school magazine.

I was stuck for a 'Mustard' shot to fit the May challenge and, as I like to use images that are important to me, I went to this particular viewpoint. There is a farm on the top of the hill I have seen from my classroom for many years now; could have been a much worse view! The buttercups are in full bloom and are, at least, the same colour as the traditional English mustard.
