Grand Palace and Temple of Emerald Budda

We managed to drag ourselves out of bed a bit earlier this time as the jet lag has worn off thankfully! It was definitely the hottest day since we arrived so we did spend a lot of time finding some shade and downing bottles of water.

This beautiful monument is part of the Grand Palace which we visited today. We have been going to most places in tuk tuks which are a brilliant Thai invention and great fun!!

Attempted to find a swimming pool to cool off but ended up just going shopping. Early start tomorrow morning!
