Ayutthaya

Had to catch an early train up to Ayutthaya this morning which is the old capital city of Thailand and you can see why when you get here! Although most of the temples and other buildings were destroyed in a war between Ayutthaya and Buma they have managed to preserve much of it extremely well.

It seems to be getting hotter and hotter everyday so sunburn was a factor today unfortunately!! We managed to find somewhere to have a shower (thank god) and get some internet as we are about to get on an overnight train up to Chiangmai!
