Hello summer!

Fabulous weather today, and a similar forecast for the weekend ahead. So late this afternoon I popped to the garden centre to stock up on a few items: runner beans to plant, tough gardening gloves to tackle some pesky brambles, peanuts for the badgers.

Since my last visit they have been sprucing up the place, and someone has imaginatively decorated the entrance with this strung-up collection of brightly coloured plant pots. Some of the other shoppers had clearly dressed to match. Summer at last! For a few days anyway ...
