River of Flowers

By doffy

Bloomin Marvellous!

Had a bit of a wander round the garden with the intention of blipping just the Weigela (bottom right) - been watching clouds of bees enjoying the flowers for the last couple of days.

Took a quick snap of the Pink Double Hawthorn (top left - growing over our wall from a neighbour's land), which I also thought worthy of inclusion.

The Field Beans (bottom left) sown last autumn with the garlic are full of flowers - another valuable food for our bees and the scent is heavy and exotic.

Finally the berries on Mahonia Japonica "Charity" (top right) - here in flower - which the blackbirds are queuing up to eat as they ripen.

Truth be told, couldn't decide, so went for all.

Have a lovely weekend everyone :-)
