Humbling

Today I went to see AnnieB. It was a long overdue visit.

She told me that it was a year ago today when she suffered her stroke. Before that I (and many others) had followed her various adventures - her trip to the far east, her forays into Glasgow, her connections with New Lanark and her home life with John and his old motor bikes. Since then I (and many others) have followed her recovery from the stroke, her set backs and her triumphs. As well as continuing to blip, she also got married!

We had a good chat and I told her that she was inspirational in the way she was dealing with her new circumstances. She said she didn't feel inspirational. But I repeated that she was.
