IDAHOT Day 2014 - Norwich

17th May is the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia and here in Norwich the Sing with Pride choir hosted a singing workshop led by the wonderful Chris Rowbury.

Not only did we learn some lovely songs from around the world but right at the end we nipped out from the venue and did a quick 'pop-up' performance on the green outside St Gregory's church. Not bad for a group which included people who either hadn't sung for years or who were singing again after a gap of several years. The performance (which lasted about 10 minutes) not only raised awareness but we got a couple of children singing along and raised £2.50 from people throwing coins into our rainbow striped cowboy hat!
