If you can't beat them...

Cowslip Primula veris

Another busy day! The usual Saturday change over at the lodge with the addition of the grass desperately needing cut. So while CC did the inside work I strimmed the steep bank and mowed. By the time that was done and the shopping dealt with there was no time to go anywhere looking for blips. Anyway CC wanted to get back to make sure her Mum (FredaH) was OK.

So I was left wandering round looking for shots again. We have a number of Cowslips in the garden, and we haven't planted a single one. I find cowslips interesting as a child, living 30 -40miles away they were a not very common flower. Now they seem to be every where, I have a suspicion (and it is only a suspicion) that the motorway verges are being deliberately seeded with Cowslips. If you travel up or down the M6 at the right time of year there as large swathes of them on the open grassy areas.

I have back blipped the entries for 15th & 16th
