Gillies Hill Threat

This latest newsletter from the Community Council brings worrying news regarding the resumption of quarrying at Gillies Hill. This could start as early as this year with over 100 lorries per day coming through Kings Park and Torbrex, not to mention the noise and pollution which would affect a wide area. The destruction of Gillies Hill with its rich flora and fauna will be disastrous and every effort is needed to try to prevent these threats becoming reality
