Tree House

We decided to go on a spur of the moment weekend away. We drove up to Kohukohu to stay at the Treehouse. Our treehouse is up in a canopy and the girls have their own part of the treehouse to sleep in. Such a beautiful spot!

Tonight while having a glass of wine on the verandah of the treehouse, we heard a noise which sounded like a landing of some sort in a near by tree. Turned out it was a wee Ruru (morepork, native owl) which was very interested in us, staying around 2m away while we were enjoying our beverage.

There's tame sheep here too. Followed us around and let us stroke it. Funny old girl!
