'Step Back In Time'

This afternoon Bella & I went for a drive over to Doncaster to have a wander around the Melbourne 'Kustom Kulture & Rockabilly Meltdown' show in the carpark of the Donny Hotel.

There was a $40 entry fee to go inside and listen to the live bands play so we gave that a miss. 19 different Rockabilly bands playing between midday and 8pm tonight. Wow, that's a lot of changes happening.

Instead we wandered around looking at all of the custom hot rods in the carpark and the colourful characters to match their machines. HERE is a link to some of the rods we saw today.

This afternoon I've bought a new hose and connections to hook up the automatic chicken waterer which apparently has been sitting in it's box for about a year. Got it all installed just before we lost all daylight tonight. It works like a toilet cistern with a little float inside it to shut of the valve when the reservoir is full. Hopefully no more topping up water bowls every day now.
