What a fantastic morning. Decided against driving to the Pentlands so just disappeared this morning with Juno into the whiteness.

It was so quiet this morning, no traffic noise and no people around.

The rabbits are destroying the young trees, they have stripped all the bark of the lower trunk.

Juno and I walked up a wooded path, the blackbirds had scrapped out the leaf litter to break the whiteness. Juno chased the blackbirds which seemed to be gathering here today.

Out on the Braids golf course vast expanses of untouched snow stretched in front of us, brilliant. Some of the drifts were upto my knees.

This is Juno upto her oxters in snow.

Walked back over Blackford hill were it appeared Edinburgh had awoken, far to busy for me, so back home. Met Eco daughter and her pals away sledging on the way home.

Probably chill out this afternoon and if moon appears tonight go for another walk.
