Framing the Landscape

Ashley Jackson, the renowned Yorkshire water colour artist, has started a project called 'Framing The Landscape'. He intends to install permanent free standing over sized metal picture frames at vantage points throughout Yorkshire.
The idea is for the public to look at the view as if it was a framed painting - hoping to concentrate the viewers eyes and mind on the landscape they see in the frame.
Photographers (and blippers) can also use it to frame their images.
The lower part of the frame has Jackson's quote 'Many people look but only a few see'.

This frame is at Marsden Moor, near Huddersfield - and is the first to be erected.
