Small but tough

I like those small plants that seem to be able to thrive almost anywhere. Those I found on the top of a stone wall at the parking lot outside my mother's apartment building.

Tomorrow is my mother's operation, and I sincerely hope that this time around everything will go as planned, and she will recover nicely and be able to return back home again. The procedure will be done in Reykjavík (they don't have a surgery here in Keflavík any more), and I intend to visit her in the afternoon, when she'll be back from the recovery room.
