Family Gossage

I so rarely get the camera out these days, I really need to pull my finger out. I am also trying to sort out the thousands of photos on my lap top too - hopefully with the intention of getting some printed too.

A productive day as well as it being our busy day. Baby class this morning - Steph and Ella were back after us not seeing them for two weeks so Minnie was keen to show off her crawling. It was noted several times just how active she is......not sure if this is code for being a bugger though! She has been nicknamed Tigger by one of the ladies as she just bounces and bounces and bounces. We then went for lunch and swimming with a couple of the girls.

I intend to put Minnie in nursery for part of the time when I return to work - MiL is so lovely and has said she is happy to have Minnie and I know she would be in brilliant hands BUT I am conscious that Mary is retired and should be doing stuff for herself not filling her time with babysitting. I also I want Minnie to be socialised and around other babies because she adores the classes we go to. The nursery I had looked at would only do a minimum of three sessions - financially its just not viable and I think thats too much for Minnie at the moment. Talking to the girls today and I am going to look at a nursery tomorrow where Minnie's birthday twin, Ellie, is going which will just be able to do one half day a week.....this would be perfect!I'm meeting my boss tomorrow so hopefully things will be a bit clearer after that too.

Swimming was amazing - Minnie was used to show how to float on their backs. The instructor did something called a body drag which basically meant Minnie was floating with no support from me but being pulled by the drag of my body walking backwards in the water, it was amazing!!! All the other babies hated being on their backs and most were crying but Minnie was a star! Yay :)

Popped to M&S and got the Dine in meal then home.

The sun is shining and the wine is open :)
