Fledgling Lavender Honey

We have quite a few lavender plants, and the bees - well they swarm to them. The plants around the front of the house are of the variety Hidcote and they aren't flowering yet.

This lavender is in our back garden, and is in full sun most of the day.

In a few weeks there will be so may bees on the plants, that each stem bounces up and down like a miniature trampoline, and people walking along the road can be quite startled by the noise as there are literally thousands of bees out there sometimes.

It still gives me a buzz.
