Portugal Day 1 - Cascais

After a quick flight (ish) we arrived in Lisbon at 6am. Once we picked up our hire car we headed to our B&B near Sintra, about 40 mins away.

We arrived to find our room ready and a lovely breakfast with fresh local bread and cake. We decided to take a quick nap as we hadn't slept much on the plane but we were ready to head out around noon. We headed to Cascais for lunch. I raelly wanted to get photos of fishing boats; but alas it was not meant to be (it was way to windy for the rest of the trip also). Its was very windy, so I opted for a slow exposure and captured the motion.

Not what I intend but I like the gostly capture :)

After Cascais we headed north along the coast to find a good locatioln for sunset. The clouds rolled in and by 4pm it was very thick dark clouds and very cold! We gave up around 8am and had a dinner at a small restaurant at one of the coastal villages.
