Heuschnupfen

Or Hay Fever. Heu is hay and schnupfen pretty accurately describes the noises one makes when one so suffers.

Today was longer than normal - I was at work before 7 and now at 20 past 8 I'm just back home. I always enjoy sitting down after Thursday is finished.

I would say I'm looking forward to the weekend but I'm on call and judging by the phone traffic today, it will be a busy one. And it didn't fill me with confidence that it was the Perfect German Speaker* that called about 50 times.

Last time that happened, when we got to the weekend I got a call about 30 seconds after my on-call time started. And was busy for the next 10 hours.

So today's Blip is just of some wild grasses that I spotted and thought were pretty in a fuzzy sort of way.

*He thinks he speaks perfect German but he actually just produces an enormous number of words in a pretty random order and hopes you'll understand. My German isn't perfect but it is a lot better than some.
