My brilliant active schools and sports development chums - who work tirelessly to ensure more children are more active, more often - are taking our home made baton round every one of our primary schools for a day of Commonwealth Games fun.

With a chance for every child to participate and some Scottish Commonwealth athlete special guests, it's a perfect way to get our kids ready for the games.

The school I visited this morning was at fever pitch!
