Void Eyes

...... But when that child called Spring, and all
his host of children come,
scattering their buds and dew upon
these acres of my home,
some rapture in my rags awakes;
I lift void eyes and scan
the sky for crows, those ravening foes,
of my strange master, Man.[/i

This chap was once in the centre of a bright green field until he was felled by some torrential rain and left sodden. But someone has picked him up and placed him by the gate. He looks very human I think.

Another day of rushing around and now packing, for tomorrow we are off on our hols. We shall drive up towards Galway, turn left into Connemara where we are catching a plane to the Aran Islands . The flight is 8 minutes!! The plane is very small. We are spending two nights on each of the three islands, and two ferry journeys are also involved - short ones. The Arans look quite amazing - famous for their stone walls, and there are loads of huge forts, old churches, and multitudes of holy wells. The music is also meant to be pretty amazing. No internet connection so we shall be off piste for the week.

Should anyone be near Bristol tomorrow please pop into Co-Lab , a very smart new gallery cum shop cum space being opened by son#2's girlfriend. Please intoduce yourself.

Okay - catch you soon.
