Dunnet Head

We had a lovely journey up through the Highlands today. Weather not great but that didn't dampen our spirits. Hot chocolate and sandwiches at our half way break in the Aviemore Centre in a very cozy cafe full of visitors from all corners of the universe judging by the many different accents and languages we heard. We arrived rather late in John O'Groats for our second stopover but having got this far it was a must to stand on and admire the very misty view from the Northern most point of Scotland here at Dunnet Head. A great feeling, despite being nearly blown away .....
But we're now looking forward to getting warm, a drink or two, dinner and bed!

Over the water from Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope, Orkney, tomorrow.
