Formal Garden - Plantin-Moretus Museum, Antwerp

A wonderful museum about printing and publishing before 1800, and our reason for visiting Antwerp. Choosing an image to represent the day has been so difficult. Originally it was going to be type ready for printing a sonnet, but I've been playing with this view of the formal garden and in the end this one won today's place. Wandering through the house and gardens was a real privilege and I'd be very happy to return. The Plantin-Moretus Museum >>>

So what else did we do?

Had an interesting conversation with a German woman who now lives in Los Angeles - they nearly got charged for our lunch!
Walked through the Old Town centre, the Grote Markt and the Cathedral towards the River Schelde and then along the banks to M HKA - the Museum of Contemporary Art (interesting and maybe one to be explored elsewhere). Tired by this time we returned to our hotel - walk - tram -walk, and then a shower.
