Spindle Flowers

The spindle tree (Euonymus europaeus) is well known for its pink capsules and orange seeds but I wonder how many of you would recognise its flowers? I certainly wouldn't have.

That is why I went back to where I had seen my Blip for Dec 9th and took a few images of its flowers. As you see, they are easily missed as they are small, greenish-white and easily overlooked.
