Remains of the day

A day of occasional glimpses of sunshine in between heavy rain showers - there was even some thunder and lightning. We walked along the river to a nearby blipper's place for a very pleasant lunch and in the process put a face to another blipper! Speaking of blippers, it was good to see that RunAndrewrun managed to complete the Edinburgh marathon.

Unfortunately the news from Easter Road made for very unhappy listening with all our many Hibee friends in mind. Later we watched some gloomy Scandanavian stuff on DVD and lay awake watching the European election results coming in, feeling more and more depressed.
