Ramblings and Mutterings

Little Llansteffan

A Bank Holiday Monday so what do you do? D.I.Y? Gardening? Stuck in traffic jams?

Nah I did none of that, I headed out West to the little village of Llansteffan, just south of Carmarthen. It’s a beautiful part of the world, and today certainly attracted the crowds but there was still plenty of room to park. A nice leisurely stroll along the front, a delicious ice cream, a walk up to the castle to enjoy superb views across the Towy estuary and then rissole and chips from Florries. Perfect!

And I even avoided the traffic jams on the way home. Result!

Despite all these glorious views, the photo I loved the best today was of this wildflower meadow on the way up to the castle.
