deluge

For once the met office got it right: this afternoon it decided to absolutely pee it down, proper big wet drops bouncing off the roads and pavements and sending torrents running down hills.

Lots of bright sunshine too to be able to capture some droplets in flight.

Bank holiday for me today so a day spent in the house, tidying up, playing with +3/3, having our first viewing and considering catching up on blip (I'm so very very lazy...)

Physics question of the day is: when you see water running down a road why do you get little regularly spaced wavefronts? Answers on a postcard.

Definitely better engorged to see the droplets.
