Welsh Dragons Den-Transition cafe wins £10,000

Strolling through Hay Festival today I stumbled on the days finalists for the Welsh Dragon's Den and discovered that the community project which fellow blipper Ceridwen the Transition Cafe, in Fishguard was one of the finalists.


Well, we were thrilled to see this innovative surplus food project win today's Final 1- and they walked away with the £10,000 prize.

When it came to votes from the audience the cafe was clearly the hot favourite.
And the judges concurred.
