Children at Hay

It's half term and the Hay Festival is heaving with children.
Here is one installation where the artist is determined to make books accessible to the very young.

We have been coming to Hay for ten years and there is a definite change - as one would expect. It's become more corporate ( bad news) but much more user friendly for families ( good news).

In the town itself the bookshops are being replaced at an alarming rate with vintage shops,(bad news) but there is growing alternative philosophy and music festival ( good news).
