On the Grand Pier at Weston-Super Mare. Visiting family and checking out the old stomping ground as M indulges in one of his absolute favourite past times - winning tickets on the pier games. Followed closely by the other favourite - the beach.

A was over the moon to find sandcastle buckets with a wall attachment (rather than just a turret) and we endured the wind and cold for 40mins while Milo built and his cousin L ran as only an 18month old with new-found running ability can when faced with sand.

Was ideally looking for a moody b/w image contrasting the new look of the Grand pier with the victorian backdrop of the seafront but nothing grabbed me today despite a lot of photos. Instead machines and fluorescents wielded the best results.
