Post Pétanque Porkers

Our second game back and once again we won and lost one, but it was a much improved performance by me and dawn.

The first match was a humdinger ... We won 13-10 with me throwing the match winning boule when we were holding two at 10-10 ... I have lost enough games 13-12 to know you really have to take your chances when they come along.

The second game we started on a high but my concentration slipped and we were only ever hanging on. We lost 13-8 but we made them work for it. Two excellent games.

We are playing again tomorrow in the cup ... The more games under our belts the better we will get.
