Downstream - Taylor River

The weather today was warm and mild with a nor-west breeze blowing. The rain predicted to arrive from the nor-west did not materialise. The sun is sliding lower in the sky and the light at times is extraordinary. I rather enjoy the challenge of photographing into the low light to the northeast. The river turns to silver and the clouds over the distant Richmond Range add to the general atmosphere.
The leaves have all but gone from the trees making for a very different view to images captured in the summer. It is to be hoped the southerly change and cold weather we are expecting overnight will be short-lived. We are about to enjoy a longer weekend with the Queen’s birthday being celebrated here this coming Monday.
