Firelight revisited

On 10th May I blipped a bloom from this rhododendron hybrid called Firelight. It was more pinkish then, but the cooler weather has contributed, I'm sure, to the length of time it has lasted in flower. It is still a mass of colour and the bees were buzzing away furiously this morning, now that at last the cold winds and rain have abated. This composite shows the profusion of flowers and a bee doing its work. Notice that there are still some closed pinkish buds waiting in the wings in the lower left corner.
