In honour of Mrs B's visit, the trio (Peter, Paul and Gary) sang tonight, a musical interlude between a sensational main course (L's ridiculously good, slow-cooked Tuscan pork) and Mum's decadent, Cointreau-soaked trifle. Yum yum.

We were 12 in all and the library shelf (that musical venue now called The Mezz!) has surprisingly good accoustics. Highlight of the night for me was Stevie Nick's great song "Landslide" which we finally got together in rehearsal yesterday and just about pulled off tonight. When we really land the harmonies we can even surprise ourselves.

What a great and delicious night.
