Day Two - Hesdin, France

It was Ian's Birthday today & so we celebrated in fine form with a fun day messing around in & around the gite. Ian was particularly thrilled with his brand new Scalextric set, which as soon as it was unwrapped was being assembled. It then didn't take long for both the red & yellow race cars to shoot off course in various, airborne directions, & for some mischievous car tampering to also take place. It was another glorious day too, which made having a bbq seem even more fitting. We of course then washed that all down with a couple of bottles of bubbly!
