My manager did some emergency shift-swapping today - which worked out pretty well for me, since I ended up with a whole weekend off. Score!

The day absolutely flew by, I had lots to do. Before I knew it I was home again (there was a slight delay at the station due to trying to avoid stairs because of my sore knee and subsequently missing a train).

The boys were all out for the evening, so I watched Parks & Rec in bed, doodled in my new doodle book, drank hot chocolate, and eventually went to sleep.




... only to be woken up a few hours later by the sound of vomiting. Lovely.
