Chickens

I fed my friend's chickens today. They are not my favourite bird (I much prefer ducks) but there was something very "Good Life" about sitting quietly in their chicken mansion, certainly not a coop, and listening to their little noises.

I was also the lucky recipient of seven eggs (between four chickens) which I thought was a superb effort. Well done ladies.

I then had a small wobbly about eating said eggs, from a chicken I had come to know....but got over it and had one with toast for lunch.
