BLOOMING IN THE RIGHT PLACE!

We went to church at home after being away for a few weeks and it was good to be back in our own congregation again.

We have enjoyed being down at the coast, but being keen gardeners, we have missed our garden and I am happy to see that because of the cooler weather, a lot of the plants in the border are still waiting to flower.

We have found that Aquilegias, which I used to call Granny's Bonnets or Columbine, grow very well in our clay soil so we bought quite a few new ones last year and this year they are looking really good. Just proves that if you put the right plants in the right soil, and of course, in the right place, the results are good and this one is a particular favourite of ours.

Sounds a bit like us really - if we are in the right place, doing what we do best, then we blossom, but if that's not the case, maybe we need "transplanting" into better soil in a completely different position.

“Know who you are,
then you can know where you can be!
Choose your environment wisely;
but be sure you know your dreams at first!
When your dream seeds fall onto the soil
with the best environmental factor,
you will have a bumper harvest!”
