Closer, Closer Now.

I had a birthday recently and The Daughters, pandering to my favourite hobby, bought me a set of 4 close up lenses to screw onto my camera lens. I would have tried them out days ago but (a) the pollen hadn't matured (b) the weather has been fabulous for blippers and (c) I had a couple of days in Edinburgh.

So tonight, a practice shot. It would be easier on a flat subject! The tablecloth photographed beautifully, showing every thread in focus.

No, I don't want a blip of a tablecloth in my journal! Well, maybe. I'd better not rule out a desperation blip if the cat goes off for the night!
