Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Trip to "town"...

Today we treated ourselves to delicious lunch OUT at the Sea Blush Cafe at the Montague Marina on Galiano Island. (2nd meal out in not quite 3 weeks... well appreciated from someone who is not fond of cooking!)
And then we drove the car to the hardware store and bought 5 more bags of dirt to fill up my garden box. And just a few groceries at the market. We have to haul the bags from the car to the boat in the marina.. This is our trusty, very well loved little 14 foot “cope boat” (name:Hi Ho Silver) we’ve had since we came to this island .. Then we have to haul the bags up the ramp on the dock and in this case to the golf cart to drive them up to the “garden”. It does make one pause to bring too much stuff. Always glad to be back to this beautiful spot. The weather is glorious.
A Western Tanager that I have never seen here before flew into our bedroom window this morning, sat on the ground stunned for 1 1/2 hours and thankfully got himself off...

MIGHT be an entry for “transport” ....

And I've started a flickr set for June at the island.... (Includes the tanager...)
