Monday Madness

Straight to the orthopedist this morn for more x-rays, got the go ahead for physiotherapy today but crutches until the screws are removed in Aug. only a couple of hours in work trying to help our v overworked lab manager before fleeing to physio. Much pain and chat later and I have to spell the alphabet twice through at least 3 times a day with my R foot- bloody painful and stiff!
Nic ran me about as ever then back to HQ for 2 friends over for dinner. Despite hating i,t Nic is an excellent cook and tonight followed suit with haloumi bruchetta to start then pork in sherry and mushroom sauce with crushed spuds and green beans. Rum and choc mousse to finish and plenty of beer and the first actually excellent Virginia wine I've ever tasted courtesy of Tyler. Nolan introduced us to SNL sketches and we laughed long and hard (Dick in a Box - hysterical).
