Survey ...

Young birds everywhere in and around the backyard. Much to my joy, also youngsters of the sparrow.

Early this morning when I was in the garden I heard many sparrows chirping. Quite a pleasure. In a neighboring garden stands a tall conifer to be ten meters high. In the top was a male sparrow keeping a suspicious eye on the environment.

The sky was evenly light gray. I used a big flash (see tags tab) to beat the backlight.
