Sundial

This is All Saints Church in Thorp Arch village near Boston Spa.

It has a sundial on the tower instead of a clock!

The shots were taken at 3:30 pm BST. As you can see the dial registers 2:30 - which is GMT.

At the top of the dial is an inscription "GEN I-XVI" which is believed to refer to Genesis I, chapter 16 " .....the greater light to rule the day...."
