Friday the 13th

The rain began at 3.00 am. Twelve hours later, it still hadn't stopped. Fifteen hours later it's finally passed, but the sky is dull, flat, grey and miserable, everywhere is sopping wet, and I've given in, officially accepted that this isn't Summer despite anything the calendar might say to the contrary, and actually turned on the heating! I'm glad I don't have to face the evening commute home, 'cause it's bound to be funereally slow and tortuous. The grand plan is to put the feet up, try to find something on telly that's even vaguely worth watching (failing which I'll watch a DVD instead), maybe have a few bevvies and retire early to bed.

All of which means, of course, meeting blip duty indoors. Sometimes it clicks, sometimes it doesn't. I still can't decide if this is a click or not, but here it is for what it's worth. It began as a pattern of light cast onto the door by the desk-side lamp shining through the casing of my iMac. A fair bit of processing (exclusively in iPhoto, without recourse to Photoshop this time) produced a range of alternatives from which I chose this one. That's it. Done. No chance of a change of mind today. It's on its own in the big bad world of Blipland, at the mercy of any blippers who stumble on it.

Stay cosy everyone. Enjoy your evening and your weekend.
