View from the Wicklow Gap Road

Dear Diary,

This area of Ireland has stunning vistas; unlike anything I've seen before in Ireland. This is a view of the Glendalough valley from the Wicklow Gap road. This is also the old pilgrim route called St. Kevin's Way. The contemporary trail, the Wicklow Way, is 127 km long, the longest hiking route in Ireland. It winds its way through the mountains. How I wished for younger and stronger knees but I am content to sit an take in this view.

Amazed at the vastness of Nature...
