Eye spy.....

...with my little eye...

Fionne!!

I saw a shrew on the path during this evening's walk. I've don't think I've ever seen one before, yet I've just read that it is one of Europe's most common mammals. Unfortunately this one was dead and although I did take a photograph (mainly for ID purposes, as I wasn't 100% sure what it was), it felt disrespectful to use it for my blip

Another gorgeous day of sunshine and an empty laundry basket. I love the smell of washing that's been dried outside. My Daughter hates it!

I took Alexander with me to the local builders merchants. We pass RAF Brize Norton on the way and I was hoping that a plane would go overhead and we'd be forced to stop at the edge of the runway. Luck was on our side and a Hercules went over. Alexander was enthralled.

The man at the builders merchants cut a piece of wood and rounded off the edges for me. He wouldn't accept payment, even though he'd worked on it for 15 minutes. You wouldn't get that kind of service at your DIY superstore.
