Fun in the snow

Still iced in. Had to go down to the main road to collect Ellis this morning, it was so slippy on the hill and well below minus.

Stayed indoors playing games and painting, great fun. I walked up to town to get a few essentials everything looked so beautiful with the bright winter sunshine making the snow glisten. I couldn't take Ellis as it was too far for him to walk so Mike had a bit of quality time.

Got back, fed the birds poor things they are really struggling in these temperatures. We then wrapped up warm and went for a walk up to the farm. Ellis's red scalf is actually my socks as he didn't come with one today, did the job though and kept him nice and warm.

A lovely day with my grandson he's growing far too fast, a proper little boy and its great to now to be having conversations with him.
