Campanula........

...........commonly known as the Canterbury Bell - this is self seeded and, like so many self-seeded plants, completely in the wrong place in the gravel path! Never mind it is a wonderful blue and I shall leave it where it is - one of the bonuses of a jungle cottage garden!! There are still a few raindrops to be seen on it.

Anni came over for her usual haircut (and lunch) this morning and we had another look at some of the hotels where we shall be staying whilst in the USA. The first four days - via Washington DC - we are in Hawaii (Oaho) we will be staying in a rather swish looking Condominium - which will be a complete change for us - it looks lovely - 27th floor with balcony and a view over the Ocean! (Partially courtesy Himself - thanks SO much, luv)

Our next stop is Oregon then driving along the Coast Road down to San Francisco - with several night stops on the way.

I just can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to it - especially as there were grave doubts about me going at all.

Funny old day weatherwise - lots of rain, now some sun - Temperature around 65 Deg F.
