A break from studying

Last night's disco was a great success, a terrific DJ that had all the parents who were on duty outside the hall doing a few dance moves too (we did not go inside as that would have been soooo embarrassing for them!) The children were all so well behaved and polite, and the DJ got them to do a few of those 'tunnels' to get them mixed up and socialising properly. And my goodness, the girls looked at least 5 years older than the boys, some could have passed for 18 years old and were rather buxom well developed - a great study in the gender differences at the age of thirteen.

Today I was going to watch Adam's tennis match but Thomas ended up having a longer than usual piano lesson so we got home too late. Luke did not play as he is busy studying, he has his German A level exam on Monday - which is why the other night I watched Goodby Lenin with him, my first time seeing it and about his fifth time (it is part of his German syllabus for exams). Despite being dated it is an excellent depiction of the changes in Berlin when the wall came down and the new government took over.

Here is Luke working out, having a break from his studies. The lighting is very bad in that room and I was forced to use flash but ideally I need more than one flash to get rid of the shadows.
