Double Trouble
What a lovely day it turned out to be after the huge storm this morning. I was working on my project and it was so dark at 9am, I had to put on all the lights.
It was too hot to take the dogs out until after seven this evening, when foolishly I thought that I'd be safe kneeling down to photograph the poppies in the field. Fionne ran straight up to me from behind and down I went, face first into the mud. Thinking that she must have learnt her lesson, I thought I'd be safe kneeling down and trying to capture her running towards me. She normally side steps me at the last moment, which is a bit hair raising but tonight, she thought she'd plough directly into me. It must have hurt her, as it sure did me. I am covered in bruises.
We saw a miniature schnauzer on the way home and my two hounds thought - PLAYTHING!! Fionne was so excited, she managed to get out of her collar. The schnauzer owner called the girls 'lurchers'!! but they didn't seem to mind.
My youngest Daughter and the family came over for a couple of hours this evening.
I'm now shattered!
