Flowers & Bug

MrD worked this morning and I spent the day pottering in the garden, putting away winter bed linen and baking.

Today's blip is of a yellow iris which I've grown from seed, I think it's taken five years to flower! The bug was lurking on the Mizuna, it's very small and a bright metallic green, no idea what it is. The purple flower is Malva Sylvestris "Mystic Merlin" which I grew from seed last year - they survived the winter and are in bloom again.
